A local family here in Centreville suffered great loss of their two youngest children, Zachariah (3) and William (6) due to a house fire.
The fire broke out on the 13900 block of Whetstone Manor Court in Clifton between 9 and 9:30am, on April 10. The two boys, trapped in the house and rescued by the local fire department, were both hospitalized due to major smoke inhalation problems. It was suspected that the children were brain dead just the day after they were hospitalized.
Many people within the Centreville community pitched in to help out the Bryce family. The family expresses their greatest thanks in a Facebook post publicizing the death of the two boys. “Our prayers along with all of yours have been answered, just in a different way.” A GoFundMe was created for the family and has since received 2.8K donations totaling at $250,934 as of this article. Many prayers have been made and shared towards the Bryce family as they are now recovering from the loss of the two youngest children and their house damage.
