The internet blew up with jokes and memes after the game. Some of the most famous were the “crying Jordan face” on Matt Ryan, and how the falcons blew a 25 point lead, like the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals. The funniest part of Super Bowl LI on Twitter was the memes supporting the Falcons and then the complete turn around when the Patriots won. Falcons fans around the country were devastated with the loss. Some kids didn’t go to school the next day with excuses of “falcons depression” on the absent sheet. Lady Gaga also got her fair share of memes after her halftime performance. Most of the memes came from comparing her performance to a Spongebob performance in the popular kids show. The Super Bowl provided a great amount of action and excitement along with a fantastic halftime show.
