Floyd Mayweather Vs. Conor McGregor
April 25, 2017
Floyd Mayweather has come out of retirement to defend his name and fight UFC superstar, Conor McGregor. McGregor(28) has called out Mayweather(40) in the past and challenged him in the ring, like many others have done before him.
Mayweather has been boxing for over 20 years and is arguably the best defensive boxer of all time. He has held a record of 49-0 with 26 knockouts and has earned his respect in the boxing ring. Mcgregor is an Irish Mixed Martial Arts or MMA fighter and has gained a lot of popularity and recognition in the past few years. His fighting record is 21-3 with 18 knockouts and one submission.
Both of these fighters are tough, competitive, and record holders in each of their leagues. Conor McGregor is the only UFC fighter to hold two titles in two different weight classes at the same time. Mayweather is undefeated and has a networth of $400,000,000, which makes him the richest boxer of all time.
As of now, the fight is not official but a lot rumors and sources expect the two to get in the ring very soon. Both fighters have verbally agreed and discussed the topic publically. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any formally written and signed contracts to make the fight happen but hopefully it’ll be coming very soon. This could possibly be one of the most watched sporting events in history if it actually happens. Everyone is excited to see what the outcome will be when MMA meets Boxing.
