Safa Hameed is a Senior at Centreville High and in her fourth year of Journalism. She is taking Journalism because she believes that it is important to learn and report on events that are underreported in the media in spite of their immense effect on society. During school breaks, she loves traveling and learning about all the different cultures, but when she can’t travel books are her go too. Outside of school, Safa tutors every week and is on the Board for the Fairfax Student Human Right Commission, working to promote discussions of diversity throughout out community. In the future, Safa wants to have no regrets and be content with all the decisions she’s made.
