Starting February 1st, 2023, Delta Airlines will be making Wi-Fi free for domestic flights. Domestic flights are flights within a domestic country’s boundaries. Delta Airlines partnered up with T-Mobile to set things in motion. So far the free Wi-Fi has reached about 500 Delta Airplanes across the United States.

Now, passengers will be able to get their work done more effectively using the free Wi-Fi provided by Delta. Most people fly on airplanes and don’t have the money to buy Wi-Fi. The CEO of Delta Airlines, Ed Bastian said, “At work, at home and everywhere in between, connectivity is essential to daily life, and your journey on Delta should be no different.”

Before, Delta charged roughly around seven dollars an hour to use the Wi-Fi provided by them. By doing this, Delta has and will continue to attract more passengers. Especially flyers who are business travelers and need access to a reliable Wi-Fi connection to get work done.

“After taking Delta’s free Wi-Fi for a spin for the first time this week, I can render a verdict: It’s working great,” wrote Kyle Potter on Thrifty Traveler. Kyle Potter, a journalist for the website Thrifty Traveler, has written an article about Delta’s free Wi-Fi. He gives his honest opinion and review on the Wi-Fi and states how easy it is to access it. He expressed how he was able to post and watch YouTube videos with ease, instead of waiting excessive amounts of time for the videos to load.
