Miguel Alves, Editor

Miguel Alves is a Senior who is in his first year of Journalism. He decided to take the class because he likes to work with people that share his passion for English. In his free time, Miguel enjoys writing poetry and songs, playing his guitar and ukulele, and watching cheesy sitcoms from the ’90s. Besides being an active member of the Sentinel, Miguel is the president of the Human Rights Club as well as a cashier at a fast-food restaurant. In ten years, he sees himself as an English teacher here in Fairfax County.
